How to Subscribe

Buying a subscription to Digimap for Schools is a simple online process that an authorised member of staff from your school can carry out at any time.

To request a subscription to Digimap for Schools you need to know:

  1. Your full school postcode.
  2. The name and email address of an authorised staff member who can agree to the Terms and Conditions of the service and who will receive emails from us.
  3. The name and email address of a finance staff member who will receive an invoice c.60 days after the subscription is placed. Optionally, the email addresses of any other day-to-day users of the service so we can keep them informed of training available and free resources.
  4. If appropriate, your school VAT registration number, company number and charity number (where applicable).

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE NO LONGER ACCEPT PAYMENT BY CHEQUE.

How to Pay

Subscription payments are made to The University of Edinburgh. Payment can be made via bank transfer. Payments by cheque are no longer accepted.

Payment terms are c.30 days.

Please do not attempt to post, fax or email a purchase order. Please simply enter your purchase order number in the online subscription request form and it will appear on your invoice.

Access for teacher training at a university

If you are responsible for delivery of teacher training at a university you are entitled to free access to Digimap for Schools provided your institution is already a subscriber to Digimap Ordnance Survey Collection (the service for Higher and Further Education).
